Dr. Groesbeck attained her BA from Skidmore College, Phi Beta Kappa, her MA in Languages, Literatures and Linguistics and her EdD in Supervision and Curriculum Development from the University of Rochester. She has received two Fulbright Grants (Germany, Japan) and was a Klingenstein Fellow at Columbia University. No stranger to hard work, she was a highly innovative and committed teacher for 17 years, being named New York State teacher of the year. Having dedicated her life’s work to education, she possesses a deep knowledge of the education sector and is known for excellence in organization, team building and stakeholder leadership. Throughout her career Dr. Groesbeck received a Presidential NEA A+ Award, the NCGS Whitty Ransome Award, and was named a Woman of Distinction in Toronto, Canada. She has been a featured speaker at numerous national and international conferences, including NAIS conferences, NCGS, Qatar Supreme Education Commission, and the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Groesbeck has a genuine love of academia and extra-curricular activities and has been known to make formal and informal presentations regularly to student bodies and to parent associations.
