Ms. Jinane T. Helou’s family has been part of the ABA community for the past 13 years. Before moving to Oman, Jinane taught English at the International College of Beirut. She holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Leicester University in the UK, and is currently writing her PhD dissertation in Educational Leadership at Wilkes University in the US. 

During her time at ABA, Jinane has taught Grade 8 English, was a Grade 9 Advisor and served as a substitute teacher. She has been an active member of the PTA, volunteered in the home room parent program, coordinated and helped out with various events and fundraisers at ABA, and is a member of the Booster Club.

With four kids attending ABA, Jinane is dedicated to upholding and nurturing an international education of the highest quality and help students reach their maximum potential. She believes that by committing time, energy, resources and working collaboratively with admin, teachers, parents and fellow board members, she can help students achieve academic excellence and better meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
